Ukodhiko Graces Thanksgiving Of Isoko North PDP Chair, Idisi
…calls for unity of party, support for Gov Oborevwori
Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, on Sunday, attended the thanksgiving service in appreciation to God for the emergence of Hon. Bernard Idisi as Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Isoko North Chapter.
The service which held at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Ozoro was attended by the member representing Isoko North Constituency, Hon Bernard Odior, Ovie of Ozoro Kingdom, HRM Ovietobore Ogbogbo, his wife Queen Elo, pioneer speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, and the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme who chaired the reception.
Others were the State Organizing Secretary of the Delta State Chapter’s of PDP, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, Chairman, PDP, Isoko South Chapter, Hon. Victor Ekelega, former member of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Ogbimi, former State Commissioners; Hon. Oviemuno Oghoore and Chief Fred Obe, Vice Chairman, Isoko North Council, Dr. Evelyn Aluta, party chieftains, Hon. Mike Ogwah, Hon. Daniel Tutumor, Dr. Minnie Igbrude, Comr. Ufuoma Murphy among others.
In his remark at the thanksgiving reception, the House of Representatives member enjoined party leaders and faithfuls to forgive each other and work for the unity of the Peoples Democratic Party in Isoko North.
According to him, “let’s learn to forgive each other in order for us to stand united and be able to work together.
“Today is not for long speeches. But then, we all know our leader and Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is doing well, especially in Isoko nation.
“So, there’s need for us all to stay united to work very hard in order to deliver him by 2027. And, I know it is very possible and we are going to do it.
“Again, it is an assignment for us as leaders and faithful. To the party chairman, Hon Idisi, you’re an elderly man and a father, it was because of your track record and your maturity, the leadership decided to settle for you as the LGA chairman.
“Thus, you must work for the interests and progress of the party. As leaders, we will continue to pray for and support you to achieve your task ahead, especially the wining of all elective positions in the 2027 elections.” Hon. Ukodhiko added.
In an appreciative remark, Hon. Bernard Idisi thanked God for the grace that saw him through his political career, emerging as the Chairman of the PDP, Isoko North Local Government Area chapter.
He thanked leaders of the party and member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon Jonathan Ukodhiko for his support and appreciated party leaders and political office holders for their continued support.
